The eagerly anticipated second broadcast by UK mma organisation Cage Gladiators hits the airwaves on Friday 29^th August at 23:00hrs on ITV 4. The two hour show will feature nine action packed bouts, including the main event CG World Heavyweight Title contest between UFC veteran Colin Robinson and  Dutch giant Stefan Struve. The programme also shows in depth coverage of the training that goes into being a mainstream mixed martial artist , aswell as a background education of the rules for new viewers of the sport.

The original broadcast in May 2008 was highly acclaimed for it’s advance production levels, yet the follow up instalment has surpassed that. Emile Coleman boasts “ We sat down with the production team and improved the product greatly, we feel we need to progress with every event and this is no exception.  We feel  our broadcasts  are an indicator of how big British MMA can become, and how mainstream it can go.”

Itv have encompassed the show in an evening of sport, with    the UEFA Super Cup Final and Ronaldo documentary preceding the programme which runs from 23:00hrs to 01:00hrs. Itv feel this will reach their target audience and demographic, this shows the level of commitment the Channel are giving Cage Gladiators and MMA.
